The Westin Chosun Seoul is a top hotel located in the heart of downtown Seoul with views of the cityscape. Offering both deluxe and executive class accommodations, its conveniences include an indoor pool, spa, and free parking on site.

This iconic location was the perfect home base in Seoul. It’s a great spot to get familiar breakfast items like oatmeal and pancakes. The Sunday brunch is really special too. Use their convenient ATM for safe cash access. The staff is absolutely incredible. Can’t wait to return.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Hands down one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had. Google lists this as a 5 star hotel and frankly I have stayed at Hampton Inns that are much superior in terms of quality and cleanliness. Save your money and go elsewhere. This hotel does not deserve 5 stars. If I'm being generous, it maybe deserves 3 at best. The room is extremely dated and all the furniture finishes seem like they are coming off. I'm not sure how often they clean the restroom as the caulking in the restroom has a distinct yellow tint to it and the soap bar area is visibly rusted. Also, the mirror appears to have a lot of build up from lord knows what. PLEASE KEEP AWAY. Save yourself the time and dirtiness. There is also this really cheap air freshener that looks like it was bought off of Temu? Either this is truly intentional showcasing the hotels 5 star standards by design OR this shows negligence that the rooms are never thoroughly cleaned. Either way, it's a shame and disappointment. On a more positive note, the staff are really kind and helpful.... but the hotel itself is abysmal and not up to par.

My experience at The Westin Josun Seoul was nothing short of extraordinary. From the luxurious accommodations to the exemplary service, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations and left me with cherished memories. Whether for business or leisure, this esteemed hotel is a beacon of hospitality in the heart of Seoul, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

Feels pretty old and rundown now. Room feels at least 20-30 years old. The drawers are dusty, carpet feels old and dirty. Internet js unstable, doesn’t work most of the time. It’s very slow and barely loads emails when it’s working. The amazing staff has set up a router in my room, but it stopped working after 1 day too, i just gave up.Staff is great and very responsive. There is no valet or daily pressing service. Selection in the minibar is limited.Definitely not a 5 star experience given all the other options at the same price range.

This is a 5* hotel experience. Beautiful hotel with room luxury. The breakfast was expressive and should have been included in the room rare. Overall very expensive but worth the experience

Location is perfect. Staff at concierge is great, speaks English and helpful. That’s about it.For a hotel charging 5* pricing, the quality of the service and management of hotel can be improved in many areas. For me, the hotel did not respond to any of the emails before my stay causing some level of uncertainty for me. Information during check in was unclear and caused misunderstanding.Pool is closed for cleaning from 6-7pm. Why during prime hour?! Staff chased people out of the shower room at 6pm sharp, not allowing to take a quick shower. It’s totally off putting.Hotel room is spacious but dated. Oh pls bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Not sure if it’s country’s policy or the hotel’s policy but again, am surprised by the lack of it in Westin. By now, I’m really regretting staying here.

The accommodation was comfortable and spacious, with cleanliness being a high priority. The complimentary breakfast served was of a decent quality and variety. However, regrettably, there was no coffee or tea provided at the table as requested by a guest. This request was met with a firm instruction to assist him in reaching the coffee/tea station himself..We also had the chance to utilize the hotel boardrooms for a meeting, and I would like to seize this opportunity to express my gratitude towards Ms. Kate Lee, who was in charge of organizing the meeting. She demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, politeness, and most importantly, she stayed beyond her appointed time, exceeding two hours, without any sign of displeasure, but rather passionately dedicated herself to her work, a rare occurrence.I would like to express my gratitude, on behalf of the group and myself, for her efforts.Warm regardsAlan Woods

hotel location is super and close to Lotte department store. hotel concierge is super helpful and kind: purchase train tickets and arrange taxi. Sauna is clean and offers body scrub. food at club is very good for cocktail hours.American Breakfast in the room is not good. No fruit and not enough vegetables. The choice is limited and can’t change or upgraded. Have to pay additional full price to have breakfast at restaurants (terrible). Make sure your booking and try to avoid this selection.

Rooms are old but luxurious. Bathroom is bad I didn’t like it . The service is very good . If u want buffet u must make reservations because it’s always full. There’s access to limousine bus to airport and also they call taxis .

Great hotel. Staff is very attentive. Very luxurious and located in the center of soul South Korea, you can walk to many places and it’s very convenient. The concierge was extremely helpful and helping me plan my day trips from the hotel.

From the moment I arrived at this hotel, I was treated like royalty. The staff opened the door to the cab, took my suitcase out of the trunk, and I was accompanied to the concierge, Judy, who checked me in. I want to highlight her because she was so sweet, thorough, and I loved her energy.Since I arrived early, I was told that I could wait in the lounge until my room was ready. The representatives always welcomed me so warmly and remembered me by my name. There's ample seating including open and two secluded rooms (that each have a few tables). NOTE: Cocktail hour is included for ALL of the Executive rooms and Suites. Just do it.My room card was brought to the lounge. The rooms are very secure by requiring the key card in order to access the room floors. I stayed in the Junior Suite. There was so much space, thoughtful touches including welcome wine & chocolates, and a wonderful view. My luggage was waiting for me and there was ample room for me to put all of my items away. Housekeeping was so friendly and made sure I stayed hydrated. The air was fresh, the bed was heavenly, and the bathroom had everything I needed-even WASHCLOTHS! In my experience, those are hard to find in many countries. Also, l was able to adjust the temperature which I needed for winter.I loved the gym because there's plenty of equipment and the staff there are nice as well. Make sure you approach the desk first in order to access the gym/pool/etc. They'll give you a wristband that is assigned to a locker. The heated pools were perfect and there were plenty of lounge chairs. I did not visit the sauna, but I will next time.I dined at one of the onsite restaurants, Hong Yuan, which is located on the LL. The service was great, the aesthetic was lovely, however, the flavor was lacking in my opinion. As for getting around, you're very close to shops, restaurants, and tourist sites. See Myeong Dong Night Market. I recommend downloading Kakao Taxi for getting back to the hotel. This was my best stay and I will return!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My critiques/suggestions are as follows:-An overhead light above the top floating shelves on either side of the bed-Devices to preserve and reheat food and drinks. (The only fridge was the minibar that didn't have much space.)-Ketogenic (without grains and sugar) options for the lounge such as breads, sweets, fruit, yogurt, and juice. (I commend the sweetener packets for coffee and tea)-Alternative welcome fruit in the room such as berries, melons, or other low-carb fruit-Include in a place more easily visible about the ice machine. That information is on a small sign inside the refreshment cabinet that's hard for those visually impaired to notice.-A cautionary sign to watch one's step entering/exiting the en-suite because of the unevenness from the ramp-Soundproof walls-Educating the staff of the difference between sir and ma'am/miss (I was called "sir" once by one of the outdoor staff who helped me with a taxi; and I am a very feminine woman)-Upgrading the furniture in the lounge as some of the chairs's material is peeling-Better handles to open the extra closet/storage where the iron and safe are stored

Excellent service as to be expected with any Westin/Marriott hotels. Staff were exceptionally courteous and were able to accommodate an early check-in which was great! All staff speak fluent English as well. Guest Services are extremely knowledgeable on the local area and can help with guidance and suggestions, or calling a taxi for local transportation if needed. Breakfast was also excellent!Rooms are very modern and beds are extremely comfortable, the Nespresso machine was a nice touch. Air conditioning works very well and is user-adjustable. Location is great and within walking distance to Myeongdong Street where there are tons of incredible shopping options, and the food scene is amazing!Only drawback is of course that the hotel is expensive, but that is to be expected given the caliber of service and accommodations. Would highly recommend spending at least a night at this hotel if you plan to visit Seoul.

Felt pretentious. Like we didn't belong. Rooms were very clean and nice. Gave 4 stars because some tiny Knicks around hotel room. Buffet was great. Could have had more korean dishes. But delicious.

Great location and clean room … but had the worst experience for such room price!Room temperature was set to 25 degree and you cant change it even after calling room service they said we have to bring an engineer to change it which never happened.Service was bad, after check in the reception simply said .. here are your bags … pushed 3 of them to my room without any help!!

I thought since it is an older location, it would have still a wonderful staff… However, our first night was greeted by very coldly during check in. Aside from that, they were kind enough to keep my lotion in lost and found for us. I feel like the cost and the view were just not worth it for this room. I’d rather go to Four Seasons.

Good location, small rooms. Service is friendly but missed details make this a lower end 5-star. For example, one day, housekeeping came in the room and replaced water bottles but inexplicably didn’t make the beds or take out the trash. The next day, they did everything except they forgot to replace the Nespresso pods. The service desk incorrectly said the taxi we booked to the airport would use the meter but in fact it was a higher 120,000 won fixed fare. Sound insulation is not great - slamming doors from other rooms woke up the kids and I could hear an iPhone alarm from another room. Lounge food is good but not great. For example, they serve fake maple syrup (Aunt Jemima?) with their waffles and scrambled eggs are made from powder. Power outlets on only one side of bed. Only one phone in room which was unplugged and uncharged on arrival. Bathroom sink has gaps between sink and glass countertop, and my brush fell through this and broke.

Great hotel, friendly and efficient service, and amazing gym/pool. The gym and pool is the best I've ever seen in any hotel and better than most actual gyms. The room was clean, nice and spacious, but weird that the toothbrush and toothpaste weren't included. The TV was massive as well.

We are truly grateful for the extraordinary experience we enjoyed at the Westin Josun Hotel during our five-night stay with our family of eight. Celebrating our mother's 80th birthday in such a special setting was truly unforgettable. The exemplary service and warmth shown by the hotel staff, particularly by Hazel, the Manager, exceeded our expectations. Hazel's attention to detail in ensuring our family was accommodated together on the same floor at no extra cost added a personal touch to our stay and the reason we stayed at this hotel rather than another Bonvoy. The hotel's well-managed atmosphere was reflected in the exceptional service provided by every employee. Every server in the lobby hotel restaurant was attentive and always had a positive attitude. The Club Lounge on the 20th floor was a standout feature of our stay, offering a comfortable space for us to unwind, indulge in delicious meals, and create lasting memories. The breakfast spread was impressive, catering to a range of tastes with a delightful selection of American and Asian dishes, complemented by exceptional service. The positive and attentive demeanor of the staff, including Jinny and others in the Club Lounge, who went above and beyond to assist us in locating our old home from over 50 years ago, exemplified their dedication to guest satisfaction. William, at the concierge desk, assisted in navigating the city and arranging transportation to the airport further enhancing our experience. The hotel's central location, close proximity to public transportation, and ease of access to Uber made exploring the city effortless. The vibrant neighborhood offered a plethora of dining and shopping options, while the nearby Lotte Department Store's exceptional Food Hall was a culinary delight. Our stay at the Westin Josun Hotel was truly exceptional, and we are thankful for the wonderful memories created during our time there.

I forgot to take a photo of the actual hotel but this was the view from our room! Absolutely loved the location, we were in walking distance of so many landmarks I can’t list them all. The rooms were gorgeous, the staff was so kind and helpful, and with the central location I would absolutely stay here again!

Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. It is 3.31pm and no sign of being able to check in to our executive room.Anyways, after we finally got the room, it is dated and small for an executive club floor room. The bathroom has no standing shower.Worst part - the toilet seat had a stain that was not cleaned from the previous guests who stayed in the room.HOWEVER! I must say the service was really good in its recovery! The hotel staff were sincerely apologetic and they did their best to help make things more pleasant. For that, I truly am appreciative. What I think is the issue is that this is an understandably popular hotel. It is in an excellent location and the hotel is well maintained for the grand dame it is. They may need more housekeeping staff to help at the turnover of rooms. Breakfast rooms also need to be expanded. Thankfully, we were booked on the executive club floor. We tried to get breakfast at the Aria but it was terribly overcrowded. We cancelled that to come up for the quieter, smaller but yet excellent quality, executive floor breakfast.Kudos for service here.I would definitely stay here again.
